Malaysia

     Four species of sea turtle, the leatherback (Dermochelys coriacea), green Chelonia mydas), 
  hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata) and olive ridley  (Lepido- chelys olivacea), nest along 
  the sandy vbeaches of both East and  West Malaysia. loggerhead (Caretta caretta) has also 
  been reported to nest  in small numbers in Sarawak. 
  All  five species are listed in IUCN Red Data  Book as endangered species.
