Five species of sea turtles have been recorded in Thai water; the leatherback turtle (Dermochelys coriacea), the green turtle (Chelonia mydas), the hawksbill turtle (Eretmo- chelys imbricata) the olive ridley turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea) and the loggerhead turtle (caretta caretta).Population and Distribution
