If you are based or living outside Thailand and want to acquire first-hand experience of the small-scale fisheries situation in Thailand, these post-conference tour programmes called “The Post Conference Study Tours” might be of interest to you.

For whom is the Post Conference Study Tours intended?

               •  Interested participants in the Global Small-Scale Fisheries Conference

How much does it cost to join the Tour ?

               •  USD 50 per person for each programmes to cover the cost of transportation to and from the hotel, related expenses for visiting the places of interest, group entrance fees/tickets, water or light beverage, and lunch.

How many study tours has SEAFDEC arranged for Saturday, 18 October 2008?

               •  Three different study tour programmes have been arranged. Interested participants can choose from:

Programme 1 : Visit a small-scale fishing community around Bangsarae Village, Chonburi Province

Remarks: A minimum of 12 persons is required for each tour program to push through. If this minimum number is not reached, the specific tour program might be cancelled.
